What GiftJar does not do
Gifts, not a bank or a mailing list
It never moves money
Amounts in a reservation or a group gift are only a record of what people intend to give. GiftJar does not process payments, hold funds or store card details — friends settle up between themselves, outside the app.
No ads, no marketing email
The only emails GiftJar sends are the codes you ask for — to confirm your address and to reset your password. No newsletters, no promotions, and we don't sell your data.
